Were had to remake the mold ! Never let Composimold bend and stay bent, because it will lose its shape. Here I go through the entire process, with the added benefit of using PAM as a mold release. It made tremendous differences in the demanding of the item being molded and the cast of the item in resin.

Start to finish this takes about 19 hours. With only half an hour applied to make the mold box and pour the mold & check it for success, * and in in this case add some more material to one side. Mixing the resin takes about 15 minutes per round, and I did three rounds. Which leaves the rest of the time, approx. 17 hours – for waiting for the resin to cure.

This was a very positive experience and although I didn’t want to remake the mold, this one will sustain through one more pour and we will have 3 panels. Its release much cleaner!
