So Easy! Installing A Complete BuildTak FlexPlate System on a Tevo Tornado Print Bed was a quick process that only took about 20 minutes. We had already prepared the build plate.
I chose BuildTak because it was already cut to the size I wanted and the magnets and blue steel (or spring steel) would have cost only 15 dollars less. Then there would be the time included in putting it together, which I consider to be very valuable. The magnetic base is well planned out and of good quality. I had considered a DIY but my biggest concern was the sharpness of the metal edge, which is mitigated by the rounded edges on the FlexPlate. However, it is still pretty sharp, you are dealing with magnets that are very strong, and I would advise caution when using this or any other powerful magnets with any piece of metals.
