This project is very near and dear to my heart. I’ve been trying to make a present for my dad for a while. This is a scroll saw portrait of my mother, who was the most beautiful woman in the world to me. I miss her every day, and honoring her memory and making a gift for my dad seemed like the right thing to do.
Please don’t be super critical, this is the very first time I was able to use my Porter Cable scroll saw with spiral blades, it is the first project I made since I unboxed the saw. I bought one pack of spiral blades, and then broke 11 blades but the 12th one in the pack was the one I found my groove with tensioning and it lasted long enough for me to make this.
