In this video, we are removing the stock build surface From A Tevo Tornado. Initially, the plan was to use the red spare surface, but there is a FlexPlate from Buildtak on order and I am going to use tape until that comes in.

I could have placed the adhesive sheet on, but as you will see that would involve extensive effort to remove it again. As I was editing this video, I realized that the build surface is not an authentic buildtak, it is definitely made by Tevo. The main issue with it was that there was bubbling, which I managed by placing parts at different places on the bed surface, but we chased the flat areas until they were all gone and had no more options.

We then decided to go ahead and put the knob extenders on the printer as well.

To remove the surface you will need a safe razer, gloves, and goof off. Once the surface is clean, we applied painters tape, levelled the bed and its printing like a dream!
