Building the HackinTosh. In which Sydney Shackelford shows me how to build a PC out of components. We later installed OSx on this machine and that became my main computer.
Its a sexy little beast, and I do love it. Its been ripping through 3d modeling projects, rendering, and delicious CAD/CAM operations. Writing software is not any faster – which is how the machine is used during work days throughout the week. However – video editing projects and anything that needs a GPU are so much faster than with the macbook pro.
