Tip on getting good results out of the Activeon CX Gold Camera – one of the things that happened to me was that the unit I got was set to defaulting at 2X zoom, leading me to think the quality was sub par at first. Its not! This camera can produce some great results. Not as good as the Garmin Virb Elite, but still quite good if you shoot with vivid, medium zoom POV, 1x Digital zoom (or no digital zoom really) super fine resolution at 1080p 30 FPS.
I have also upgraded the firmware in this camera, which seems to make it on par with the gold cx plus.
