I 3d printed a camera rig, put some hardware in it, bought a cheap cage and realized I needed an M6 acorn nut (at least the thread needed to be that). I printed the first one, found that mods were needed. Measured with calipers, launched fusion 360, and built a customized acorn nut! It printed easily, no supports and I have assembled it here.

Also in this video, I used both the camera rig with the session 5 and the sony to compare. Using the rig, I get a nice result both handheld and sitting on a surface. A small portion of this video shows the results of the rig filming my customizing the 3d printed clapboard we are going to need for more advanced shoots with multiple cameras and audio syncing.

ModShapes is about product design and making things. We started out making bespoke stands for vapes. Today we do resin artwork, 3d modeling, and more.
